Look! My suitcase is packed for CAKE.  I am bringing mini-comics about gorillas, teaching, dogs, and gremlins.  ALSO, I’m selling some prints of my favorite gorilla drawings.  AND in addition to that, I will have a little red box filled with small original doodles, sketches, and prints.  Everything costs $5.00 although some of the items are worth way more than that to me.  I’m curious to see if my favorite things are other people’s favorite things.  It’s a doodle-lottery of sorts.   I invite you to “monkey out” and forage through the red box for an image made just for you.  See you soon Chicago!

Here is a panel from an eight page comic I drew over the break.  I had too much fun writing/drawing it.  (I would share the whole thing, but it is for an anthology.)  

My aspirations are for Gorilla Year 3  from now until May.  (And maybe one more mail comic if I can manage it.)

I will be sharing some new comics by myself and my students at the Maine Comic Art Festival on Sunday in Portland, Maine.  I will also be wearing a dress and smiling a lot.
